On the easel
The process of painting  begins with a drawing.  I proceed with
a mixture of six colors  into one puddle of paint and then add
white to this greenish grey color progressing from lighter values
to the darkest. Using these 4-6 values, I begin to develop the
painting , Upon completion of this, I then go into color--keeping
the color combinations on the dull or low key. This  should set
up for the final  process which  will enhance the depth,
luminosity and over all finish. Only about 20% color will be
added this last step with the very last step --adding the distinct
highlights.
This Classical method is a lengthy process as it requires drying
time between layers requiring  patience and determination-
--with satisfaction of a detailed Fine Art painting.
A drawing and
beginning to add values
Using a  soft brush to blend
Adding lighter value across pitcher in small
pounce like movements . I will continue
adding values and then gently blend
Again proceeding with values, pounce then blend
gently,--making sure not to
over blend. Over
blending will only create one value as they all mix
together. Yes, a little  patience here.
will continue with the red cherries and do the same to them. The final After all values
are added on vase, I step  this portion of the process is to re-check all my areas for
correctness and blend.

NOTE: The 3 different color (blue) instead of grey is a problem with my picture taking
abilities ------I did not change color of oils.
